Named by Westword as one of Denver’s Pop/R&B artists to watch, Jaiel is making waves in the music industry with her inspiring music and empowering message. Influenced by icons like Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and India Arie, she seamlessly blends pop, R&B, and soul into a sound uniquely her own.

A graduate of Colorado College, she made history as the first Black woman to earn a degree in music from the institution, releasing Black Girl Songs as her senior thesis. In 2025, she revisited that milestone with Black Girl Songs: Deluxe, a five-track reimagining praised by Westword as one of “ten local albums way better than The Life of a Showgirl.” The release coincided with a packed-house performance at Denver’s Underground Music Showcase and a sold-out headlining debut at Dazzle. That momentum carried into 2026 with a featured performance during GRAMMY Week at GRAMMYU’s inaugural SoundStage Festival.

Her debut album The Blooming Hearts Club, a 9-track album arrives September 4, 2026 (on her birthday) and is a coming-of-age narrative about grief, sisterhood, and the courage to bloom. With her unwavering commitment to empowering women and girls through her artistry, she remains a beacon of light, a force to be reckoned with, and a visionary shaping the landscape of contemporary music.
